Thermography is an FDA registered inferred technology to evaluate the overall health of your body.
This screening procedure is a unique test of physiology and an invaluable diagnostic tool that can detect abnormal cellular changes long before symptoms arise.
Its painless non invasive and radiation free.
Thermography is best know for early detection of pathology in breast screening , but the same benefits extend to the entire body.
We help you to be 100% proactive
with your health & wellness
by utilizing Thermography.
Thermography (FDA approved) is a valuable tool to evaluate the overall health of the body. It is a painless, non-invasive and non-radiation screening procedure which uses Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI) camera to detect abnormal cellular changes in the body long before symptoms (ie. pain) arise.
Thermography is the only method available for visualizing and accessing pain and pathology anywhere in your body.
Thermography is unique in its ability to measure your physiological changes and metabolic processes without harmful radiation or chemicals.
Is Thermography beneficial for the breast?
Yes. It offers the opportunity of earlier detection of breast disease; whether it is cancer, fibrocystic disease, an infection or vascular disease. Breast thermography has the ability to detect the first signs that a cancer may be forming up to 10 years before any other procedure can detect it.
How does Thermography differ from Mammography?
Thermography has NO radiation, is painless and is non-invasive (no contact to the body).
Does thermography screen for other issues in the body?
Yes It is the ONLY method available for visualizing pain and pathology. This screening detects and monitors numerous conditions, diseases and physical injuries including: Unexplained pain, Artery Inflammation, Breast Disease, Disc Disease, Fibromyalgia, Sprain/Strain, Referred Pain, Reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome (RSD), Stroke Screening, Digestive Disorders, Whiplash, Dental and TMJ, Inflammatory Pain, Referred Pain Syndrome, Nerve damage, Vascular Disease, Skin Cancer, Arthritis, Back Injuries.
Is Thermography covered by Insurance?
Yes. Some insurance companies cover Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI). You are advised to check with their individual plan. The CPT Code is 93740. If you are uninsured or if your insurance does not cover DITI, The United Breast Cancer Foundation will cover all or a portion of the cost. Please apply online at UBCF.info to get up to $150.00 based on financial need. Patients are encouraged to fill out a one page application on their website even if you feel you would not receive any funds. Please follow up with them once you are approved and check with them periodically..

Some screening methods expose patients to small doses of radiation. Having a radiation-free option for full-body screening is ideal. A thermography assesses a patient’s skin temperature through thermal imaging and deciphers this information on a computer screen in the form of electronic data signals without the use of radiation.
Not only can a full-body thermography detect breast cancer, as well as other forms, but it can also uncover additional diseases and conditions, and help identify a wide range of dysfunctions, including, but not limited to:
A thermography is not an invasive procedure, and doesn't involve much preparation, either. While you'll be instructed to cease exercising, showering, and using certain body creams/sprays the morning of your exam, you won’t be required to do much else, other than wear loose-fitting clothing.
One benefit of undergoing a full-body thermography is the prospect of detecting an abnormality in its early stages, which in many cases, can be vital in effectively treating such an issue.
A 2010 study in the medical journal Nanomedicine demonstrates the continuous research evaluating different thermography methods and their respective capabilities to recognize early signs of a disorder or disease. For instance, in this particular study, the results find a thermography “could potentially offer a cost-effective, safe, and sensitive method for early detection of cancerous tumors.”
The half body scan is our most popular scan. Many women choose to upgrade to this scan as a part of their yearly breast assessment. It is typically performed on the upper half of the body, and includes the head, neck, breasts, stomach, back, arms, and hands. This scan provides a wealth of information that can help you target the root cause of many issues.
Breast thermography is a simple, pain-free, and safe way to monitor your breast health. There is absolutely no touching, no radiation, and no breast compression! All women’s breast, half, and full body scans are performed by a female certified clinical thermographer.
In your first year of thermography, 2 breast scans are performed 90 days apart. Your first scan is to establish your baseline. Your baseline scan represents your unique thermal fingerprint—a pattern that will only change due to a developing pathology.
Without the 90-day follow up assessment, there is no way to determine if your thermal pattern is stable or changing at the time of the scan.
Why wait 90-days?
Active cancer cells double approximately every 90 days. If there are any changes occurring in the breast, this is the earliest method of detection!
There is NO substitute for establishing an accurate baseline!
All subsequent testing will be compared to previous scans and your baseline. If there are any suspicious changes in your thermogram, the physician interpreting your scan will provide the recommended time frame for your next follow-up scan.
The Women’s Health Check (WHC) was conceptualized and designed with women’s health concerns in mind. With an enhanced focus on women’s health and an easy to understand ‘risk level’ slider, the report delivers an overall, objective grading of a woman’s health status.
This functional health check addresses all age-related challenges as well as evaluation and grading of the head, neck, breast, chest and abdomen. The WHC looks for findings that may indicate autonomic, autoimmune, endocrine, adrenal, vascular, lymphatic and breast dysfunction, which are all pivotal to overall health of women of any age.
The 71-point weighted grading of personal history and symptoms combines with the individually graded thermal findings to provide a holistic view of overall health and future risk levels which can be used as part of a preventative health program.
